Lorenzo stamps his authority in Jerez Free Practice 3
Two times world champion Jorge Lorenzo has stamped his authority in practice by claiming top spot in Free Practice 3, Saturday morning in Jerez ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.
The temperature was a lot cooler than yesterday´s FP2 and riders improved on their FP1 times. The factory Yamaha rider, Lorenzo waited till the last moment to clock 1´38.493 and regain top spot from Pol Espargaro on the Satelitte Yamaha.
Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda), Aliex Espargaro (Suzuki), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) are in the top5 with Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) in 6th ahead of Marc Marquez (Honda) in 7th.
Next session today will be Practice 4 followed by Qualifying. The main race will be on Sunday.
